Disclaimer: App's (My Mail Merge) use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
My Mail Merge takes data protection matters very seriously and wishes to ensure that privacy of users who use our services is protected.
My Mail Merge transfers data to and from your Gmail account. Mostly the data transfer occurs via numeric identifiers which are specific to Gmail and the Gmail API.
Email addresses can be transferred from the My Mail Merge server back to the Gmail interface in some cases, over an SSL secured manner. Third party integration tools such as My Mail Merge are not allowed to connect to account data without SSL on Gmail.
Personal data refers to any kind of details about an identifiable and certain person that represent the personal and material circumstances of that certain person.
This can include information such as name, email address, postal address or mobile number etc. Personal data of a user will only be collected and processed for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes complying with the Personal Data minimization principle and ensuring accuracy.
Our database may store the email addresses to which you are sending emails to track analytics such as opens, clicks and provide unsubscribe functionality.
This data is stored in our database which is secured by two layers of firewalls, and we never share the data with any third parties. My Mail Merge works similar to well-known email marketing systems where storage of email addresses is required to provide standard email marketing features.
My Mail Merge database does not store the contents of your emails unlike other traditional email marketing services. We may store from address used for each campaign
Content of Subject / Message of email campaigns is not stored by My Mail Merge but the content does pass through our server ephemerally. To track an email message’s opens and clicks, this process is required. This process happens in microseconds and the content of an email message does not live on our server beyond that.
We store the From Address because in Gmail, multiple From Addresses can be authorized for use in a single Gmail account, and by storing the From Address, we are better able to support users by being able to look up their My Mail Merge account when they tell us they sent a campaign “from” a certain address.
My Mail Merge is a Gmail plugin and not involved in the business of selling or renting data with any kind of third party applications.
In compliance with GDPR, any user may request that his/her data be deleted from our servers. To make such a request send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org from the My Mail Merge account whose data you wish to be deleted.
